Our Story

HandiheART works wholeheartedly to aid artists from underserved communities in sustaining their livelihoods and building networks with larger audiences. In its quest to do so, it also uses a myriad of elements to create awareness about various folk traditions in India so that a market can be culled out for these pieces. Some of these methods are:

  • HandiheART organises 30 minute zoom sessions/workshops with contributing artists to the platform where they can familiarise an audience with their art form and simple skills within that art form. For more information about ongoing sessions, <click here

  • The venture also has its own children’s colouring book where the black and white works of art hailing from varying Indian folk traditions are arranged for the children to colour. To have a look at a sample <click here>
